Roger A. Ginter, age 69 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born April 24, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Lucien & Evelyn (Hisey) Ginter.

Mr. Ginter was a retired Machinist for Dayton Walther with over 20 years of service and Clark Steel with 10 years of service.

Preceded in death by his 2 brothers James Ginter & Wayne Ginter, and by his nephew Randy "Shay" Chitwood, Jr.

He is survived by his son Bradley Ginter and wife Dawny, his daughter Rebecca McConnell, brother Martin Ginter and wife Barbara, sister Robin Chitwood and husband Randall, mother of his children Wanda Ginter, 3 grandchildren Amber Vitense and husband Brandon, Mason Ginter & Gredin McConnell, dear friends Connie & Dwight Smiley, Kenny Caudill, and Tonya McDaniel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Ralph Cyrus officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Friday at the funeral home.
