Trubee, Robert L., age 95 of Foley, AL, formerly of West Carrollton, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the William F. Greene Veterans Home. He was born on May 31, 1922 in Miami Twp., the son of the late Earl & Sue (Irwin) Trubee. Mr. Trubee honorably served his county in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He was a retired Accountant with Frigidaire, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, West Carrollton, West Carrollton Historical Society and an avid Ohio State University fan. GO BUCKS !!! Preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Patricia A. Trubee in 2014, and by his sister Evelyn King. He is survived by his 2 sons Bruce Trubee and wife Cynthia, Gregg Trubee, 5 grandchildren Justin Trubee (Meghan), Ian Trubee (Christina), Kathleen Patrice Trubee, Evan Bowles & Adam Bowles, 3 great grandchildren Elias, Roree & Lydia Trubee, brother-in-law Michael Scholler (Renee), sister-in-law Linda McCrone (Kevin), niece Sue Ross (Jerry), as well as numerous other family members and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the SWART FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Mike Buker officiating.  Burial Evergreen Cemetery with Military Honors.
