Knierim, Robert G., age 80 of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016. He was born March 3, 1935 in Brookville, the son of the late Carl & Gladys (Whipp) Knierim. He was retired from General Motors, a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and was a volunteer with the Miami Valley Cable Council and Sycamore Hospital, and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Geri E. (Coyle) Knierim, 2 daughters Theresa Knierim of NC, Lisa Jordan (J.R.) of CA, his son Mike Knierim (Lynn) of Miami Twp., his sister Betty Locker (Jim) of Lewisburg, 3 grandchildren Matthew Jordan, Christina & Andrew Knierim, and a host of other family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, with Father Ron Combs celebrant. Burial Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the VA Hospice Fund with envelopes at the church.
