Flory, Robert J., age 70 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was born January 1, 1943 in Dayton, the son of the late Edward Joseph & Naomi Zelma (Baker) Flory. Robert was retired from the Hyland Machine Co., a member of the Spring Valley Alumni Assoc., and a 30+ year friendship with Bill W. Preceded in death by his wife Linda Flory, his brother Lee Flory, and a step-son Darin Long. Survivors include his son Robert M. Flory (Peggy) of Dayton, 2 daughters Robin M. Gearhart (Tony) of AZ, Andrea Hobart (Richard) of CA, a step-son Bryan Long of Dayton, 2 step-daughters Tammy Garland (Tim) of Greenville, Shannon Smith (Jason) of New Paris, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton, with Chaplain Renee Sims officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the service.
