Shumard, Jr., Robert E. "Robbie", age 67 of Dayton, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1952 in Dayton, the son of the late Robert E. Shumard, Sr. & Janet (McNinch) Black.

Mr. Shumard honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his son Robert Scott Shumard, his daughter Andrea Davis and husband Brian, brother Rick Shumard and wife Stephanie, 4  sisters Debra Lewis and husband Jesse, Kathy Campbell and husband Allen, Angie Halcomb and husband Danny, and Amanda Gullett and husband Terry, 6 grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Family Gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton, with Military Honors conducted at 2:30 p.m. by the Combined Honor Guard of the VFW Post #3438 & American Legion Post #165.
