Corey, Robert A., age 89 of Miami Twp., passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016. He was born August 5, 1927 in La Crosse, WI, the son of the late Lorin A. & Lile (Koch) Corey. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Minerva Lodge #98 F. & A.M., S.A.R., Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, and honorably served in the U.S. Navy. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Florence G. (Watson) Corey, 2 daughters Linda Simpson, Sherri Stamm, his son Robert S. Corey, his brother Kenneth L. Corey (Carol), 4 grandchildren Jeffrey S. Corey (Jennifer), Matthew R. Corey (Molly), Joseph Z. Stamm, Bethany M. Stamm, 4 great grandchildren Hayley & Drew, Celia & Adam, 2 sisters-in-law Carolyn Karnosh, Heather Long (David), and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. at the Central Presbyterian Church, 4699 Lamme Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45439, a Masonic Service will begin at 12:40 p.m. and Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Clifford R. Haddox officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church or the charity of the donor's choice.
