Tyree, Jr., Richard S., age 49 of Miamisburg, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015. He was born December 7, 1965 in Dayton, the son of the late Richard S. & Carol Lynn (Allison) Tyree. Richard was employed by AK Steel with 19 years of service, honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the I.A.M. Union at AK Steel, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the VFW in Middletown. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Natalie Marie Matheny, and a niece Courtney Sherwood. Richard is survived by his wife of 22 years Tammy J. (Bowlin) Tyree, 2 sons Stephen Tyler Tyree, Nick Tyree, his daughter Stephanie Wasson (Justin) all of Miamisburg, 3 sisters Dorothy Goldsmith of Indiana, Flo Barnett (Shawn) of Trenton, Pauline Sherwood of Beavercreek, 4 grandchildren Allie & Gracie Matheny, Alyvia & Lila Wasson, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. Burial Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of Richard's mother.
