Rebecca J. "Becky" Vaughn, age 82 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at her granddaughter’s home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 27, 1944, in Clinton County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clovis E. & Thelma M. (Taylor) Leiwig.

Becky graduated from West Carrollton High School, Class of 1962. She worked for many years as a Customer Service Representative with MetLife Insurance Company and cherished the time she spent with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her 2 daughters Denise Lynn Davis and Deborah M. “Debbie” Lowther, her husband Arthur Leon Vaughn, the father of her children Dennis J. Davis, Sr., her brothers Donnie, Jim, Alvin, Earl, Richard, Carroll “Bud”, and Ervin “Gene” Leiwig, and by her sister Marcia Allen.

She is survived by her loving family: her son Dennis J. “DJ” Davis, Jr., her granddaughter Rebecca Brown, her grandson Timothy Lowther, great grandchildren Denise, Hope, Allie, Amareon, Derick, Reno, Hannah, Chance and Jacob, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Avenue, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
