Penrod, Phyllis A., age 64 of West Carrollton, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at her home. She was born October 4, 1948 in Middletown, the daughter of the late Donald & Thelma (Taylor) Tirey. Preceded in death by a sister Gloria McKinney. Phyllis is survived by her son Adam Tirey and wife Michelle of West Carrollton, 3 daughters Thelma Blankenship-Avilez and husband Angel of San Diego, CA, Tricia Blankenship-Wills of Virginia Beach, VA, Melissa Blankenship-Pabarue and husband Hugh of Macomb, MI, her boyfriend Chris Horton of West Carrollton, 2 brothers Donald Tirey of Vandalia, Ronnie Tirey of Beavercreek, her sister Terry Shirley of West Carrollton, 9 grandchildren Harley, Alyssa, Dustin, Brittany, Corey, Alec, Brooklyn, Chelsea, and Alexis, 2 special nieces Cassandra Huff of Dayton, and Krystal Nave of Troy, a dear friend Ron Richardson of Englewood, and friends Bobby and Tiffany. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
