Phillip G. "Phil" Fultz, age 77 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 3, 1948, in Mt. Sterling, KY, the son of the late Issac and Georgia (Parrott) Fultz.

Phillip was a retired employee of Sol-Schultz & Company in Dayton for many years. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Bengals, basketball, and working in the yard; he also cherished his time playing basketball with his family at the Ruskin Basketball Courts. Phil and his mom Georgia loved to go on long car rides together.

Preceded in death by his sister Jeanette “Jan” Gilbert, his brother Jeffery Lee (Cherokee) Fultz, Sr., and by his nephew Jeffery Lee Fultz, Jr.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews Tammy Collins, and husband Justin, Anthony Gilbert, Christopher Gilbert and wife Christina, great nieces Jasmine Collins and Stormy Collins, great great nieces and nephew Maliyah, Carlos and Kamoni Ellison, his aunts Jeanette Parrott, Judy Allen and Barbara Parrott, his step daughter Martha Henson-Smith and husband Darion, his step-son Michael Henson, his grandchildren Alyssa Schulte-Smith and husband Anthony, Brittany Elasass and husband Dustin, Neveah Henson, Michael Henson-Smith, his great grandchildren Isaac James Smith and Ethan & Ella Elasass, as well as other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Wednesday at the funeral home.
