Anderson, Paul R., age 74 of Miami Twp., passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was born March 28, 1940 in Dayton, the son of the late Sterling & Lillian (Covington) Anderson. Paul was retired from Moore Paper Box with 27 years of service, Dayton Press with 20 years of service and worked for Daytep the last 2 years. A member of Masonic Lodge #295 F & A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, a Kentucky Colonel, O.K.I. Bluegrass Association, Lostcreek Band, and attended First Baptist Church of Miamisburg. Preceded in death by an infant brother and sister, and a nephew George Dean Deaton. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Mina (Lutes) Anderson, 2 sons Mike Anderson (Terri) of West Alexandria, Chris Miller (Kim) of KY, 2 daughters Paula Rodeffer (Chelsea) of Lewisburg, Sandra Perkins (Dennis) of Germantown, his sister Lorna Lee (Wally) of West Carrollton, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other family and many bluegrass friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton, with Pastor Todd Smith officiating.
