Pamela Ann Spencer, age 78 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Austin Trace Health & Rehabilitation surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 18, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Marvin E. & N. Frances (Scarborough) Tickel.

Pam was a proud graduate of West Carrollton High School Class of 1965. She dedicated 23 years of service as a Police and Fire Dispatcher to the West Carrollton Police Department and later spent 25 years as an Accounting Manager for P.Q. Systems. She was a faithful member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and participated in the Zion Lutheran Church Women’s group.

She was reunited in peace with her brother, Robert “Bobby” Tickel, her nephew, Scott Tickel, and her stepson Kenneth M. Spencer, Jr.

Pam will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 40 years, Kenneth M. “Ken” Spencer; her daughter, Sharon R. Culham and husband Scott; her son, Richard “Ryan” Schindler; her stepson, Martin “Marty” Spencer; her brother, Craig Tickel, her grandchildren, Andrew Michael Schindler, Seth Daniel Culham, and Samuel David Culham; her step-grandchildren, Madison Spencer and Morgan Spencer; her sisters-in-law Sue Tickel & Patricia “Pat” Barry; her niece Angela “Angie” Vargo and husband Gilbert “Gibby”, her nephews David Tickel and wife Taylor, and Matthew Tickel and wife Olga; her great nieces & nephews, Sydney Vargo, Isaac Vargo, Nathan Tickel and Faith Tickel; along with other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5550 Munger Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459 with Rev. Adam Forbes and Rev. Julie Reuning-Scherer officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
