Hixson, Kenneth M. "Mike", age 71 of Miamisburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 8, 1947 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Herbert & Jonelle (Penrod) Hixson. Mike was a 1965 graduate of Kiser High School where he was ALL CITY FOOTBALL and State Wrestling; he was also an active member of the Kiser High School Alumni Association.  Mr. Hixson was an Auditor for Price Waterhouse, an Accountant for Reynolds & Reynolds, and a Financial Analyst for LADD. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Herbert & Terry Hixson. He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia (Cyr) Hixson, son Ethan Hixson, 2 daughters Natalie Elkins & Katie Buchanan, his brother Dennis Hixson, his sister Patricia Simross, his dogs Peyton & Eli, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Centerville United Methodist Church, 63 E. Franklin St., Dayton, OH 45459 with Pastor Tony Miltenberger officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
