Whitley, Midas, age 89, went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2016. He was born October 4, 1926 in Salyersville, KY, the son of the late Dudley & Elizabeth (Allen) Whitley. Midas was retired from GM, the owner of Whitley Appliance Service, and a member of the Dryden Road Pentecostal Church. Preceded in death by his wife Lillian, son-in-law Allen Cox, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by 5 daughters Phyllis Burr (Danny) of Lynx, OH, Linda Reed (Bob) of Springboro, Darlene Cox of Xenia, Kathy Miller (Ed) of Xenia, Karen Kyler (Jeff) of Springboro, 2 sons Lonnie Whitley (Jeanette) of VA, Michael Whitley (Sharon) of Moraine, his brother James Whitley of Dayton, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dryden Road Pentecostal Church, 3201 Dryden Rd., Moraine, with Rev. Bennie Sutherland officiating. Burial Byron Cemetery.
