Baker, Michael C., age 73 of West Carrollton, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. He was born September 2, 1942 in Dayton, the son of the late Edward L. Sr. & Grace (Jordan) Baker. Michael was retired from General Motors, a member of VFW Post #3438, American Legion Post #165, honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, and was a Purple Heart recipient. Preceded in death by his wife Lois G. Baker in 2002. He is survived by his brother Edward L. "Skip" Baker, Jr. and wife Diane of Miamisburg, his sister Dolly Hicks and husband Bobby of Miamisburg, special friend Gina of West Carrollton, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
