Linda M. Sharp, age 72 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on October 12, 1948 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Hubert E. Sharp (1980) and Ressie (Carter) Sharp (2020).

Ms. Sharp was a retired Science Teacher for Olive Branch Middle School for 30 years; she was a former employee of Carillon Historical Park and volunteered with Aullwood Audubon Center & Farm. Linda was a member of the American Baptist Church in Kettering, Miami Valley Outdoor Club, Dayton Ski Club, Gem City Birders, Dayton Area Herpetological Society and an avid bird watcher.

Preceded in death by her brother H. Jeffery Sharp in 2005, aunt Hazel Parks and uncle Gene Carter.

Linda is survived by her loving family; 2 uncles Lonzo Carter & Sam Sharp and wife Libby, aunt Stella Carter, cousins Tom Parks and wife Sandy, Ron Parks and wife Amy, Vicki Hubbard and husband Jerry, Sharon Upton and husband Kerry, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr.  Karen Johnson officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Miami Township Fire Dept./EMS, 2710 Lyons Rd., Miamisburg, OH 45342 for their care of Linda.
