Linda L. Armstrong, age 75 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at her daughter Nicki's home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 10, 1948, in Mora, MN, the daughter of the late Ralph E. & Betty C. (Hopkins) Fessenden.
Preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 56 years, Rickie L. Armstrong on February 6, 2022, 2 infant sisters Susan & Judy Fessenden, her 2 sisters Jessie Tirey & Mary Myers, and by her brother-in-law David Leiffer.
She is survived by her loving children Rickie E. Armstrong and wife Melissa, William C. Armstrong and wife Annette, Tamara Finn and husband Robert, Nichole Armstrong and her life partner Monica Bower-List & wife Jennifer Truett, special granddaughter Ashley Pruzzo and husband Keith, Sr., her 2 sisters Cora Dale Jackson & Peggy Leiffer, 3 brothers William E. Fessenden and wife Pam, Jeffrey Fessenden and wife Teresa, and Ronald Fessenden and wife Angie, brother-in-law Dwain Myers, 13 grandchildren Michael, Richard, Kristen, Nicholas, Jessica, Tyler, Linda, Jack, Alexis, Izzee, Patrick, Alex, and Josephine, 14 great grandchildren Maddi, Evan, Dylan, Trenton, Caiden, Grayson, Colton, Kamryn. Keith, Jr., Olivia, Mya, C.J., Lucas, Brinley and Mia Louise, special friend Grannie Annie Rodgers, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Harry Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to SISCA or to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in memory of Mrs. Linda L. Armstrong.
