Thompson, Leon "Lee", age 88 of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014. He was born February 22, 1926 in Lancaster, KY, the son of the late James & Beatrice (Clark) Thompson. He was the retired Circulation Manager for the Journal Herald with 30 years of service, a member of the Antioch Shrine, W.C. Masonic Lodge #737 F & AM, and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his wife Robbie M. Thompson in 2003, a granddaughter Jody, and 2 brothers Jim & Joe Thompson. He is survived by his daughter Judy Griffith, 3 grandchildren Glenn Juillerat, Dawn McNutt-Parks, David Juillerat, 10 great grandchildren, and his four legged great great grandchildren Hannah, Spunky, Moose & Bella. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. Inurnment with military honors will take place at the Heritage Hills Memory Gardens, Springboro. In lieu flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital in his memory.
