DeCarlo, Lawrence F., age 66 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. He was born August 19, 1949 in Dayton, the son of the late Fred & Joann (Schmil) DeCarlo. Mr. DeCarlo was part of the N.A.O. with the Dayton Police Department for 20 years. Preceded in death by 2 granddaughters Ashley & Allison. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Joanna M. (Plassenthal) DeCarlo, 2 sons Larry DeCarlo, Jr., Edward DeCarlo, 2 daughters Bonnie Bradham (Carlin), Judy Settles (Ron), 2 brothers David DeCarlo (Tammy), Fred DeCarlo (Teresa), 2 sisters Mary Beth Walts, Rose Burns (John), 8 grandchildren Aimee, Kimberly, Matthew, Nichole, Tyler, Samantha, Dillon, Brooklyn, 7 great grandchildren Kaitlynn, Brandon, Payton, Ethan, Kayla, Zachary, Izaveah, and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with a Prayer Service to follow.
