Manson, Larry E. "Gene", age 72 of Carlisle passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born on April 21, 1946 in Troy, Ohio the son of the late Richard & Dora (Shepherd) Freeman. Mr. Manson was a retired Manager for the D & D Carryout with over 25 years of service and an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Carolyn S. (Hood) Manson, his son Larry E. Manson, II and wife Sandy, his 2 daughters Christina Wages and husband Brian, Holly Hollon and husband Larry, 2 brothers Terry L. Manson and wife Beverly & Darryl Evans, 6 grandchildren Amber Manson, Brennan Wages, Makenzey Hollon, Caymie Wages, Braysan Wages, Caydance Wages, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the SWART FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Doug Surber officiating.  Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
