Larry Clay Essig, Jr., age 50 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born on February 5, 1974, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Lois Jean (Brogan) Cummings on October 27, 2018, and by his father Herbert Slone, September 6, 2021.

Larry was a former employee of Lahm Tool and a current employee of F & G Tool Die Company. He was a member of the Lost Soulz Motorcycle Club and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his 2 fur babies Casey & Brutus.

He is survived by his 2 loving sons Logan Essig and wife Kayla & Dylan Essig, his sister Ardonna Angel, his brother John Slone and wife Mandy, his 3 grandchildren Gabby Essig, Paisley Essig, and Dash Essig, his niece Marley Slone, 3 nephews Blake Angel, Jake Slone and Zach Collins, great nephew Caleb Angel, great niece Mia Angel, the mother of his children Melissa Essig, his best friends Kelli Brooks and Dave Misner, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Swart Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses and headstone expenses.
