Phong, Laig, age 88 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017 at  Grandview Medical Center. She was born on April 16, 1929 in Vientiane, Laos. The daughter of the late Sang & Nangsith Lieng. Mrs. Phong was preceded in death by her husband Path Phong in 1985. She is survived by her loving children Hong Phong (Pheng), Viengkha Khong (Phonemany), Anousone Phong (Gnaisine), Noi Phonglieng (Tae), Seng Phong, Bouachanh Vongsy (Saykham), Amy Phothisane (Tom), Chith Phong (Dum), Lilly Phong (Somlith), special daughter, Thelma Bryant, numerous grandchildren including 2 special granddaughters Katie & Christina Phonglieng, and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Rev. Joel Getts officiating.
