Kathleen A. “Kathy” Garrison, age 66 of Centerville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital – Main Campus, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 13, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio.

Kathy was a graduate of West Carrollton High School Class of 1997. She went on to Wright State University earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry and graduating in 1982. Kathy furthered her education at the University of Memphis, earning her M.B.A. in General Management, and graduating in 1996. Kathleen was a retired General Management Director and over saw the facility operations for Cargill in both Dayton, OH, and Memphis, TN with over 35 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of the Memorial United Methodist Church. Kathy was a member and Past president of the Executive Women’s Golf Association, and an active dog trainer for 4 Paws for Ability, Inc., in Xenia, with 10 years of service.

Preceded in death by her mother Shirley Garrison on November 1, 2023.

She is survived by her loving father Daryl Garrison, her sister Karen Zimmerman and husband William, her aunt Linda Cruse, her fur babies “Na-Vi” and “Ellé”, as well as other relatives, her church family, her golfing family and many other friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the United Memorial Methodist Church, 26 N. Locust St., West Carrollton with Pastor Jeremiah Lewis and Rev. Barbara Wiechle officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Friday at the church. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
