Scarberry, Katherine M. (Chapple), age 49 of Germantown, lost her long battle with cancer early Monday morning, October 12, 2015. She was born March 9, 1966 in Kettering, the daughter of Murray & Joan (Jones) Chapple. She was an employee of WPAFB from December 12, 1988 to March 7, 2015 when she had to take a medical retirement after 26 years of working in the civilian sector of the United States Air Force, in which she worked on projects like the  f-117, and achieved her level 2 program management certificate. Preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her beloved children: Alexia Marie Scarberry (Joshua), Trisha Jaeggi (Luke), Todd Scarberry Jr., "TJ" (Sydney), her father, Murray Chapple (Nancy), her three siblings: Marcia Lackey (Gary), Jenny Sutter (Kenny), Carol Chapple-White (Jody),  three beautiful grandchildren: Anabell, Ivey, and Wyatt, and 5 nieces and nephews: David, Chelsea, Tracy, Kayla, and Carrie. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor J. Todd Smith officiating.
