Karen Sue Money, age 78 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Dayton VA Medical Center – Hospice Care, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 20, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Betty (Jarnigan) Martin and Franklin Walker.

Sue honorably served her country in the U.S. Navy. She was a retired Bookkeeper for B & K Tax Service with 40 years of service. Sue was a member of the VFW Post #3438, West Carrollton, and the Miamisburg Moose #1645.

Preceded in death by her husband Ernest M. "Ernie" Money on February 16, 2005, her niece Heather Walker, and by her 2 nephews Brian & Tim Walker.

She is survived by her 4 siblings Bill Walker and wife Karen, Denny Walker and wife Sonya, Frank "Bunk" Walker and wife Melanie, and Gerri Howard, nephews & nieces Jeff (Sherry) Downey, Mark (Sarah) Walker, Mike (Molly) Walker, Wade (Katie) Walker, Luke Walker, Erin (Kevin) Engelman, Amy Wiley and Tim (Amanda) Wiley, special friends Shirley Middleton, Sandy Stutz, Linda Gray, Marita Baranack, and Janie Thomas, her fur babies "Bonnie & Clyde" as well as numerous great nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Dayton National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (Breast Cancer), P O Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 in memory of Karen Sue Money.
