Ledbetter, Justine, age 90 of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the St Leonard Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 7, 1927 in Allred, TN, the daughter of the late Covy & Bertha (Tipton) Smith. Mrs. Ledbetter was a Beautician for many years; and Instructor for Richard Weston's School of Cosmetology in Dayton. She was a member of the Memorial United Church of Christ in Dayton. Preceded in death by her husband Bethel Ledbetter in 1990, 2 brothers Letcher D. Smith and Duell "Duke" Smith, and by her 5 sisters Beola, Gladys, Bernice, Charmaine & Janice. She is survived by her 2 sons Gary Ledbetter & Larry Ledbetter and wife Alice, her daughter Pam Milburn and husband Monty, sister-in-law Charlene Smith, brother-in-law Charles "Chuck" Clough, 4 grandchildren Monty Milburn, Jr., and wife Amanda, Matthew Milburn, Tricia Witkowski and husband Dave, and Timberley Armstrong, 5 great grandchildren Ellie Milburn, Warren Shawhan and wife MarTenya, David Witkowski, Zac Barnett and wife Amber & Marilyn Armstrong, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Ed Fox officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
