Juleta R. Poole, age 81 of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 28, 1940 in Armathwaite, TN, the daughter of the late Hobert L. & Kathleen (Range) Tompkins.

Mrs. Poole was an Accountant for Duron from 1970 to 1981. She loved reading & studying the Bible and enjoyed cross stitching and watching her soap operas.

Preceded in death by her husband Wendell E. Poole on September 3, 2014, her 2 brothers-in-law Richard L. Poole & Charles Poole, and by 3 sisters-in-law Alice M. Musselman, Joyce A. Hayslip and Myrtle L. Smeal.

She is survived by her daughter by choice Willa Cox, her brother Jerry L. Tompkins, her sister Rachel Steck, 4 brothers-in-law Donald A. Poole and wife Brenda, Bernard Poole and wife Loretta, James Poole (son by choice), Dale Poole and wife Terry, 3 sisters-in-law Geraldine Lamb and husband John, Barbara J. Bullock and husband Philip Cash and Linda Hotard, her grandson by choice, Jason Deaton, 3 great grandsons by choice, Cameron Deaton, Chase Deaton & Cody Miracle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Tuesday at the funeral home.
