Smith, Joyce C., age 78 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 6, 1937 in Bourbon County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John & Pearl Wilson. Joyce was a Home Healthcare provider for over 30 years. Preceded in death by her husband Tas Smith, a daughter Teresa Chessman, a brother Eugene Wilson, and 3 sisters Anna Cavey, Ruth Doolin and Birdie Taylor. Joyce is survived by 2 sons Herbert Rogers, Jr., Ron Smith and wife Amy, her daughter Brenda Cheryl Gengler, her brother John Wilson and wife Sharon, 2 sisters Ruby Snider & Elizabeth Davis and husband Charles, 9 grandchildren Dana, Reese, Jake, Erin, Paige, David, Travis, Hunter and Hannah, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and a host of other family and friends. A gathering will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
