Joyce L. Riley, age 88 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Stoney Ridge Senior Living, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 26, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Johanna (Geisel) Brewer and Fred Sarber.

Joyce was an avid shopper and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by her sister Wanda Sue Leary.

She is survived by her loving children Michelle Johnson, Thad Riley and wife Melanie, and Megan Sasso and husband Michael, her sister Darlene Wymer and husband Jack, her brother Carl Brewer and wife Gayle, her brother-in-law Edward Leary, her grandchildren Matthew Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Maxwell Riley, Kaitlyn Riley, Summer Riley, Elizabeth Kelly and Nathaniel Kelly, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Ave., West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
