Rose, Jolene S., age 75, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. She was born on July 5, 1941 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Jordan & Janet (Smith) Combs.

Jolene was active in the West Carrollton School System; she co-chaired the committee for the renovation of the Junior High School. Jolene served as President of the Education Recognition Association for 10 years, and was a member of the West Carrollton School Board from 1988 to 1994. Jolene was chosen as a Charter member of the West Carrollton Distinguished Service Hall of Fame.

She is survived by her loving husband Bernard, 2 daughters Anjeanette & Amanda and husband Chris, her sister Junell, her niece Sheryl, and by 2 grandchildren Emma and Zach.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
