Johnathan James "John" Manning, age 53 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 17, 1972, in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.

John honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a carpet installer for many years; and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his father James Manning.

He is survived by his loving mother Julia (Brown) Manning, his brother Mark Manning and wife Sally, his nephew Markus Manning, his aunt Joann Thomas, as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Phil Hohulin officiating. Burial will follow at Germantown Union Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Wednesday at the funeral home.
