Jerry K. Rutan, age 87 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his family. He was born on August 25, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Lennard L. & Ruth (Lawrence) Rutan.

Mr. Rutan honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy, and was a retired Metal Spinner for Buckeye Metal Spinning with over 50 years of service. Jerry was a member of the Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in West Carrolton, Masonic Lodge #26 F & A.M., Lebanon, and the Dayton Shriner's.

Preceded in death by 2 sister-in-laws Gloria Rutan & Diana Ehrhard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Beverly A. (Ehrhard) Rutan, his daughter Jill Berton and husband Daniel, his son James Rutan, 2 brothers Jack Rutan & David Rutan, brother-in-law Martin Ehrhard, 3 grandsons Kristopher Quillen and wife Tamara, Jesse Rutan & Jacob Rutan, 2 great grandchildren Layla Quillen & Bram Quillen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in Mr. Rutan's memory. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
