Hampton, Jeannette L., age 73 of Novi, Michigan, passed away suddenly January 10, 2013. She was born April 17, 1939 in Cumberland, Maryland, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ethel (Dietz) Brant. Jeannette was very devoted to her faith, she loved to garden and was a very helpful person, and was an avid collector of everything. Preceded in death by her son Jeffery W. Corry, her brothers Lloyd Brant, Jr., Richard "Dick" Brant, Harley Brant, and Donald Brant, her sister Dolores Brant. Jeannette was united to marriage to Lewis "Joe" Hampton; they spent over 25 loving years together until his death on January 10, 2013. Survivors include her children Charles O. Corry, Cheryl (Timothy) Price, Darrell (Joyce) Corry, Jonathon (Patricia) Harshman, and Lorin L. Harshman, her sisters Barbara Sutton, Clara Mae Bartram, Betty May, and June Baker, 28 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. Burial Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
