Olson, Jean D., age 79 of West Carrollton, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012. She was born June 30, 1933 in Sneedville, TN, the daughter of the late Claude & Bess (Long) DeBord. Jean honorably served her country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of the American Legion Post #165, VFW Post #3438, the Miamisburg Moose, and the Eagles in Miamisburg. Preceded in death by a son Steven, her brother Billy DeBord, and 3 sisters Polly Smith, Betty McKernan, and Lena Droll. She is survived by 4 sons Billy Olson (Sheila), Michael Olson (Nancy), Joseph Olson and Timothy Olson, her daughter Vicki Jo Diaz (Joe), 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her best friend Claudia Fluhart and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
