Lewis, Jean W., age 92 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. She was born November 30, 1920 in Middletown, the daughter of the late Raymond & Evis (Snook) Smith. Mrs. Lewis was a retired teacher with 27 years of service from West Carrollton City Schools, and a member of the Moraine Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Ethan J. Lewis in 1992, and 5 brothers Willard, Chester, Weldon, Paul and Don. She is survived by her son Charles J. Lewis of Dayton, and 2 brothers Ralph Smith of Carlisle, and Robert Smith of Germantown. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. from the SWART &  WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Dr. Terrell Hudson officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
