Jason Bush, age 53, of Bellbrook, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 30, 2026. He was born on February 24, 1973, in Dayton, Ohio.

Jason was a proud graduate of West Carrollton High School, Class of 1991. Over the years, he worked with Rite Rug in Miamisburg and America’s Floor Source in Columbus. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and following all kinds of sports.

Jason was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa (Hurst) Bush on December 30, 2023; his sister, Telana Bush Faries; his nephew, James Christophel; and his stepfather, Ronnie L. Pruitt.

Those left to cherish Jason’s memory include his mother, Sandra G. (Phelps) Pruitt; his children, Jacob Bush and Mackenzie Bush; his uncles, Jimmie Phelps and Kevin Phelps; his nieces, Jessica “Jess” Christophel, Samantha Christophel, and Giovanna Sasha Christophel; and many other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Jason’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
