Satterfield, James R., age 72 of West Carrollton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He was born June 8, 1944 in Dayton, the son of the late Ray C. & June O. (Gilbert) Satterfield. James was retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife and devoted wife of 48 years Susan C. (Whittington) Satterfield, his daughter Cinda Johnson, his son Zachary Satterfield, his 4 loving grandchildren Makayla Johnson, Cheyanna Ford, Brayden Rogers & Anaka Rogers, his brother Jackie Satterfield (Connie), 2 sisters Judy Satterfield, Janice Gard (Rick), 2 sisters-in-law Rita Shupert (Phil), Sharon Andregg, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton, with Chaplain John Sullivan officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery.
