Marshall, James R., age 80 of Miamisburg, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Elmcroft of Washington Twp. He was born on June 16, 1937 in West Milton, the son of the late John Paul & Nola (Shaw) Marshall. Mr. Marshall was a retired Machinist with Mound Laboratory with 30 years of services as well as a member of the Parkview United Methodist Church, Dayton Muzzle Loading Gun Club and the Simon Kenton Long Rifles. Preceded in death by a grandson Jason Denney. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn (Fowler) Marshall, 2 sons Steve Marshall and wife Janice Brooks of Mulvane, KS, Stuart Marshall and wife Shawna of Miamisburg, daughter Sharon Long and husband Mike of Springboro, brother Bill Marshall and wife Alice of WV, 2 grandchildren Jeremy & Sarah Denney. A private memorial service will be held with Pastor Dave Pettengill.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st, Suite 800, Miami, FL, 33131.
