James "Jim" K. Peyton, 62, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Saturday February 10, 2018. He was born to Kenneth and Evelyn Peyton in Dayton, Ohio.

Jim liked to sing and play guitar, and he was known as "The Jazz Man."  He also loved to sail and be on the water, and recently he and his wife Carol enjoyed a Caribbean cruise.

Jim is survived by the love of his life, his wife Carol Ann Peyton; brother Larry Peyton; stepmother Irma Peyton; stepson and wife Phil and Amanda Karsten; Aunt and Uncle Erla and Gene Wilson; cousins Ed and Gwen Peyton; best and oldest friends Avery and Lynette Lee and Doris Roberts; and many more loving friends and family.

A Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Ave., West Carrollton, OH 45449 on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
