Jacquelyn L. Myers, age 89 of  Kettering, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Landings of Huber Heights. She was born on November 9, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond & Evelyn (Satterfield) Yates.

Mrs. Myers was a retired employee of Dayton Progress with 26 years of service. She was a member of the AMVETS & American Legion Post #668, Vandalia.

Preceded in death by her husband Roy W. Myers, and by her 3 brothers Jim, Butch & Donnie "Red" Yates.

She is survived by her 3 loving sons James H. Myers and wife Bunnetta, Richard R. Myers and David L. Myers and wife Diane "Dixie" her brother Bill Yates and wife Sonny, 2 sisters Margie McNabb and Susie Bruns and husband Paul, 4 grandchildren LaTisha Rodriguez and husband John, Melissa Altman and husband Alex, Rachel Goforth and husband Colton, and Cody J. Myers, 2 great grandchildren Shiloh Jolina Madison & Lillie Belle Rodriguez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Jon Kibler officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) at the funeral home. If so, desired memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Mrs. Myers memory. For everyone in attendance of the services for Mrs. Myers please wear a mask.
