Jack Hopkins, age 92 of Middletown, formerly of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Majestic Care Assisted Living Center in Middletown. He was born on June 6, 1932, in Seaman, Ohio, the son of the late Charlie & Mattie (Sweeney) Hopkins.

Mr. Hopkins honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a former Security Guard for Warren County, and former Security Guard for Lexus Nexis. Jack was also a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy J. (Vaughan) Hopkins on October 1, 2018, his brother Joe, and by 3 sisters Pauline, Edna and Josie.

He is survived by his loving children Judith Ann Smith and husband Richard, Shari Brown (Bronson Sheek), jack Randall Hopkins and wife Mindy, 20 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third St., Dayton, Ohio 45428, with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating.  A funeral procession will leave Swart Funeral Home, 207 E. Central Ave., West Carrollton, Ohio 45449 at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
