Barrett, Helen (Cantrell), age 90 of Lehigh Acres, FL, formerly of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Port Charlotte Bayfront Health Hospital. She was born on August 20, 1927 in West Carrollton, the daughter of the late Thomas & Bessie (McCully) Cantrell. Mrs. Barrett was a former employee of Southern Hills Elementary School, she also volunteered throughout the years with different organizations. Preceded in death by her husband Horton Barrett in 2005, daughter-in-law Paula Barrett,  2 brothers Leo & Ralph "Jimbo" Cantrell, and by 3 sisters Edna Collins, Effie Mericle, & Margaret Milton. She is survived by her daughter Linda Sue Borton of Lehigh Acres, FL, son Ronald Barrett of Centerville, granddaughter Kelley Barrett, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Shannon David Wooten officiating. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery.
