Poston, Gregory A., age 62 of Moraine, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. He was born July 15, 1952 in Dayton. Greg was a member and retired with 38 years of service from Ohio Operating Engineers Local 18, a member of Pathway Baptist Church, and honorably served his country for 3 years in the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by his mother Margaret Pearl (Clouse) Poston, a son Jason Poston, and a brother Roger Poston. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Linda L. (Brewer) Poston, 2 sons Matthew Poston (Crystal) of Moraine, Kevin Poston (Tori) of Miamisburg, his father Gradis Arnold Poston of Moraine, 2 grandchildren Zach & Joanna who were the joy of his life, 2 brothers Bruce Poston (Stephanie), Doug Poston (Gail) all of Moraine, his sister Connie Jackson-Hedicker (Dave) of Vandalia, and a host of other family and friends. Greg was devoted to his family and cherished the time he spent with them. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton, with Pastor Larry Whitt officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in his memory.
