Smith, Grant G., "Smitty", age 87 of Kettering, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born February 22, 1929 in Jackson Co., KY, the son of the late Logan & Ida May (Hall) Smith. Grant was retired from NCR & GM. Preceded in death by his wives Ruth in 1974, Thelma in 2009, and his son Kevin R. Smith in 2014, his brother and 5 sisters. He is survived by his son Steve G. Smith (Sue) of Kettering, 3 step-daughters Sharon Pinnick (Craig) of Farmersville, Debbie Carpenter of Moraine, Shirley Shaw (Brian) of Dayton, 8 grandchildren and numerous great & great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Rev. Vester Smith officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
