Germaine E. "Geri" Knierim, age 89 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Walnut Creek Senior Living Campus, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 1, 1934, in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert & Lucille Mary (Deller) Coyle.
Mrs. Knierim was a retired employee of NCR and Bell Industries with many years of service. She was an active member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church and was also served on their Bereavement Committee.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Robert G. Knierim on January 29, 2016, 5 brothers Bob, Tom, Dan, Jim and Joe, and by her 3 sisters Marie, Margy and Joan.
She is survived by her loving family: her 2 daughters Theresa Knierim and Lisa Jordan and husband J.R., her son Mike Knierim and wife Lynn, her 2 sisters Toni Seidl and Susie Coyle, 3 grandchildren Matthew Jordan, Christina (Knierim) Fletcher and husband Brandon & Andrew Knierim and wife Brinkley, her great grandson Rhett Knierim, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 320 Central Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio with Father Martin Fox, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Saturday at the St. Joseph Center located directly behind Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Germaine E. "Geri" Knierim. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
