George A. Colwell, II, age 65 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his residence. He was born on April 24, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio. Preceded in death by his mother Arline (Ward) Kelly.

George was a Tow Truck Driver for Summit Towing and Sandy's Towing with 35 years of combined service.

He is survived by his loving son George Colwell, III and wife Harley, his father John Colwell and wife Karen, his sister Ava Elkins and husband Daniel, his brother Vincent Kelly, 2 granddaughters Destany & Cassandra Colwell, best friend Chuck Clark, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Monday at the Swart Funeral Home, 207 E. Central Ave. West Carrollton, Ohio 45449.
