Freda Pearl Schroeppel-Green age 88 of Brooksville, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, at her home in Brooksville (community of Brookridge), Florida. She was born on May 12, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank & Lillian (Allen) Fletcher. Graduate of West Carrollton High School

Freda was preceded in death by her previous husband Gerald B. "Jerry" Schroeppel and survived by Larry L. Green.

Mrs. Green was an Administrative Assistant for the Veterans Administration. She traveled the world and worked at many different Air Force Bases including WPAFB, Bay Pines VA Center, Germany, England, Lowery Air Force Base in Denver Colorado, as well as the Colorado State Patrol.

She is survived by 5 children, sons – Richard Schreoppel (Dayton, OH), Mark Schroeppel and wife Jenna (Florida), daughter – Vanessa Lay and husband Don (Miamisburg, OH), step-daughters – Teresa Marie Schroeppel (WA), and Lisa Kay (Schroeppel) Clements and husband Robert James "Bob" Clements (WA), as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Hillgrove Cemetery, 1002 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
