Mays, Freda R., age 76 of Middletown, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016. She was born September 7, 1939 in Dayton. Freda was retired from General Motors, a member of the Dayton Kennel Club, and the Dayton Dog Training Club. Preceded in death by her husband Samuel Mays, her father and step-mother Moritz J. Kentner and Gladys, her mother Mary M. Kentner, and a sister. She is survived by her cousin Rose Marie Kendig of Bellbrook, friends Diana & Gary Collins of Centerville, and many friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
