Catron, (Mobley), Frances, age 89 of Englewood, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 9, 1924 in Elliott Co., KY, the daughter of the late William & Goldia (Harper) Thompson. She was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University in 1947, and worked as elementary school teacher for over 40 years retiring from Dayton Public Schools in 1983.  Frances married Dale G. Mobley in 1947 until the time of his death in 1970, and married Orville Catron in 1983 until the time of his death in 1999. Preceded in death by her step-father Estill Harris, a brother, 2 sisters and spouses. Survivors include her children Charles Dale Mobley (Elizabeth), Mary Frances (Mobley) Colwell (Kevin), grandchildren Bryan Mobley (Crystal), Lisa Mobley, Lindsay (Colwell) Moore (Casey), Kelsi Colwell, great grandchildren Hailey & Bryson, step-son Tim Adams, special friends Maud & Margie, nieces Pat, Barb, Pearl, Lois, Peggy, Kelley-Jo, and nephews Bill & Ronnie. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
