Doherty, Eugene, age 92 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his daughter's home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 9, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late John & Flossie (Bromley) Doherty.

Mr. Doherty honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a retired Bus Driver for RTA with over 20 years of service.

Preceded in death by his sister Mae L. Redrick and by his 3 brothers Howard, Harold & Jackie Doherty.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Doris (Robinson) Doherty, his son Ray Doherty and wife Deana, his daughter Robyn Wiltshire and husband Jim, 5 grandchildren Brenton Carter and wife Miranda, Ashley Larson and husband Heath, Brock Doherty, Joshua Wiltshire and Rachel Deitner and husband Jonathon, 2 great grandchildren Mason Carter & Ainsley Larson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Private services will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton with Full Military Honors. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
